My Valentine stash is a little heavy on the predominant Blushing Bride from Love Blossoms (#140548) so I was interested in last week's Global Design Project call to use the less dominant colors: Garden Green, Crumb Cake, and Rose Red. I did this little gem for this week's Mojo Monday challenge:
I started looking at this diagonal lined stripe in a whole new light once I isolated it from the other patterns. The heart piece is leftover from another project with Bloomin' Love and the Garden Green stripes are perfect with the busy-ness of the heart.
Here is it's partner, based on another hexagon card I did a few years back:
I layered white on white tags made with Tags and Labels Framelits(#138282). The hexagons are made with the hexagon punch (#130919) and layered onto a white panel embossed with the Hoenycomb embossing folder (#129378).
Thanks for stopping...
I love both cards, but especially the hexagon one! I saw it on Splitcoaststampers & had to come take a look. Love the way the die cut hexagons echo the embossing on the background. Great color choices, too!

Chris, both cards are great. I too saw your card on Splitcoastampers and wanted to visit your blog for further information on the hexagon one. I think I like it the best. Happy stamping!!!

Very nice cards, I like the pop of colors on each one. Also, I really like the name of your blog.. very suitable for stampers. ☺
