Caribbean Blooms

My display board needed a Delight in Life card for a section that features Taken with Turquoise/Cool Caribbean type colors so this is what I came up with.  I tried out my new Aida Cloth background for the first time on the black.  Since I was using a craft spot (small inkpad) to ink it I wasn't able the use the brayer as I usually do with large stamps.  The color is a little uneven but we'll just have to say that is part of the card's charm. My white gel pen got a bit of a workout on this card too.  Just gotta love that little workhorse! There are also some soft Cool Caribbean flowers behind the words. I stamped off on scratch paper first to make sure the ink was really light. Lastly the scallops  were made with the slit punch minus its corner guard.
