OK, this isn't really a Halloween card. It's a twist. I actually made this last summer when I was up at my parents' trying to come up with a card that showed Heartfelt Thanks - kind of like this one that I posted on Splitcoast almost 2 years ago. I wanted to show the difference of stamping classic colors on black cardstock (they don't show up!) compared to using the same colors in craft ink. The only colors that I had with me in both craft and classic were Certainly Celery and Only Orange.
Stamps: Heartfelt Thanks, Greeting is from Three for You punch box
Craft Inks: Certainly Celery, Only Orange, Whisper White
Cardstock: Certainly Celery, Whisper White, Basic Black
Accessories: White Signo Gel Pen, Spiral Punch, heat tool(optional)
As you can see, the craft inks are very dramatic on black cardstock. I especially like the Bold Brights and the Soft Subtles on black. But don't limit yourself to just using these wonderful inks on black. They are wonderful to use on other colors too. Check out this comparison which shows how much clearer Apricot Appeal craft looks than classic when stamped on Bashful Blue.
I've heard from of few of you wondering where I've been lately. I'm doing fine but have been pretty busy with nursing school and family life in general. I do have Halloween Twist #2 and #3 on the back burner so hopefully those will be coming along ... before the end of October anyway!
