This is for today's Technique Lover's Challenge which called for a recessed window in the card. I had embossed some images last night and been thinking about doing a card with Red Riding Hood and Kraft from the Sweet Slumber specialty paper pack. This hippo seemed like she would fill all requirements nicely!
The hippo is colored with a blender pen and inkpads. The balloon (Crazy for Cupcakes) strings are just slivers of paper though it took me a while to make them behave. You can find directions for making the recessed frame on the link to the challenge in the preceeding paragragh. The kraft paper for the balloon is from the Taste of Textiles pack.
