Though I finished up today's card with the October Petals Palette in my previous post, I'd colored this little monkey ages ago using a color scheme I'd ripped out of an old Vogue magazine. Here's a snapshot of the colors that caught my eye:
Anyway, this monkey has been sitting on my desk with his funny little hat and flag, wondering what would become of him. Surely he influenced the October Petals palette I eventually put together! Once I had those papers and accessories sitting there it was a snap to pull this card together.
