One of my downline, Liz, and I got together a few weeks ago to stamp cards before she set up her annual booth at the Stevens County Fair. Here are a few of the cards I made while she was here:
This card is a spin off of one of my earlier cards. I flipped the sketch, substituted the new All Abloom paper stack and added a few punch outs from the DSP along with the message and butterfly from Kinda Eclectic.
I had to wake Liz up in the morning by letting her know that the flamingo from her Flamingo Lingo set was partying with me ... without her. Look what we were up to:
I just love how these paper stacks blend!
I stamped quite a bit with Sweetbrair Rose. (Though we looked up both the flamingo and the rose for zoological and botanical correctness I proceeded take artistic license with both.)
This rose is so elegant it doesn't really need to be colored...
But then again it was really made for coloring. This one was watercolored with an Aquapainter and the lids of my ink pads. I'm pretty sure I stamped the image with Smokey Slate for a softer look.
Nuts About You, a hostess set, had me kind of stumped until I decided try in with black and then sponge a background. If I remember right I used Blackberry Bliss, Tangelo Twist, CAlypso Coral and Blushing Bride. Liz has the original so I hope she jumps in to comment if I need correcting.
That's all for this post. I'll try to stop back to post the others soon!
