I'm back to show you another set that plays well with the Bubbles and Fizz DSP that is available during Sale-A-Bration and here it is:
Aren't these stars perfect for our little paper-pieced wizard?
- This card features the Magical Day Bundle (145985 clear) (145984 wood).
- Choose the section of the paper you wish to use to paper pierce the wizard carefully. The stars are a bit irregular and you want to make sure you capture a good number of them in the wizard robe and hat.
- I used touches of the turquoise Myths and Magic Glimmer Paper (145601) - little die cut stars, the tiny scalloped border (Layering Circles), and the banner which is cut with a die and then cut into three pieces with just the 2 side pieces attached behind the edges of the Whisper White Banner that had been die cut with the same banner die. Cut a second circle out of the scallop so you can use it for another project.
- I used Smoky Slate, bronze and the color lifter Blends or the wizards face and beard.
- What do you think of the Soft Sky layer that softens the contrast between the Bermuda Bay of the DSP and the Whisper White card base? So often we use a darker layer underneath. I was happy with the look and will have to look for other opportunities to try this.
