I hope weekend is off to a good start. I'm popping in today with another Wishing You Well Card. This is one of the cards I shared with my downline, the he'Artstringstampers, to kick off the Holiday Catalog.
That's right. I photographed them while we were up at the lake for Labor Day weekend... It was beautiful and the big lake was calm, unlike last week when Lake Superior decided to rearrange her shoreline. I'm not even sure where this log is now.
- I stamped this with Mossy Meadow after it had been stamped off once.
- Next I added more color to the leaves with the light Granny Apple Green Blends. It works just fine to add color to your dye stamped images with your alcohol marker.
- The florets were colored with the light shade of Flirty Flamingo.I didn't so much color flowers as add dots to the bud like areas.
- I used my favorite set of framelits, Stitched shapes - the largest oval - to cut out my bouquet and then layered it onto the largest scalloped oval from the Layering Ovals Framelits. Very Vanilla on Very Vanilla on Very Vanilla. It works!
- The bow was cut out - though it also looks great when it is just plain stamped on the bouquet.
- The pearl is from the Share What You Love Artisan Pearls.
- Are you loving the tufted embossing folder?
Thank you so much for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your weekend!
