Just poppin in with a quick post of a card I did for today's color challenge over on Splitcoaststampers.
I always have trouble when my focal point image is close in size to my greeting. It took a little playing but I was happy with the stamped off leaves and Very Vanilla skeleton leaf which let the leaves be present on the top layer yet left the focus on the message. What do you think? The Colorful Seasons stamp set has SUCH lovely greetings.
- I used the baby wipe technique to make my colorful leaves.
- Apply ink refill to a folded baby wipe to blend whatever colors you like. I used the colors from the challenge: Tranquil Tide (actually I mixed Shaded Spruce with a little Pacific Point since I apparently haven't ordered the Tranquil Tide refill yet. Mix them right on the baby wipe.)
- Don't forget to use something like a plastic cover under your baby wipe to protect your work surface. I find that generic wipes are preferable. Sometimes there is texture in the name brands which gets transferred to your work.
- The greeting ink and skinny middle layer of cardstock are both Tranquil Tide.
Thank you so much for stopping by today.

It's October! If you place a minimum $40 (US) order using the hostess code, X9QJNMFF, I will send you the Metallic Pearls for FREE.

I've finally figured out the supply list tools so I hope these work. If they don't take you to my Stampin' Up! store you can get there on the tab at the top of this page.
