Is this a familiar sketch? I reintroduced it last month as one way to approach a color challenge. Today it shows yet another way to use the bouquet stamp from the beloved Wishing You Well stamp set.
- I used a Whisper White card base with another 4" x 5 1/4" Whisper White layer.
- Color Block sections are Pool Party, Soft Sea Foam, and Mint Macaron. I cut them to be a little wider than the 4" when connected with cellophane tape from the back. Then I just trim off any extra once the blocks are attached to the Whisper White layer.
- You can stamp over the place where the colored card stock meets the white card stock. Any inconsistencies are covered with the ribbon. another option is the hide the lower part of your stamping under the color block section. I'll be showing this on another great card I've got coming up next week...
- Add a few Basic Pearls on to the bouquet in lieu of stamping flowers.
- Though you will want to stamp the greeting before attaching the ribbon make sure you allow enough room when stamping the greeting so that the ribbon won't cover it.
- Wait to attach the layer to the card based until after you have added the ribbon.
