I have a couple of cards with the Tea Together set, from the Occasions catalog, to share with you today. Both of them also use the Tea Time framelits which are available for free when you place a $100 order before tax and shipping during Sale-A-Bration. Sale-A-Bration runs through March 2019. Aren't these adorable?
- This first card is one we made at my recent downline Make and Take. It features the teapot and cup with little roses stamped onto both the pot and cup.
- Use a top fold portrait card so that you can tie a ribbon around the base. (11" x 4 1/4" scored and folded at 5 1/2")
- Emboss a 6" x 6" piece of Whisper White with the Lace embossing folder and trim down to a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" piece, centering the lace as you see fit.
- Blends colors are Petal Pink Combo, Pumpkin Pie, Balmy Blue light, Mint Macaron and a little bit of Mango Meody Dark in the flower centers.
- Even though the leaves and the scallop oval are Mint Macaron, I think it works just fine to use the shimmery Pool Party ribbon. It's as though it picks up light in such a way that you can fool the eye into thinking that it is pretty close to Mint Macaron. Tuck that idea away until you need it...
- The get well greeting is from Itty Bitty Greetings and seems to fit well with tea card.
My next card shows how lovely the flowers are without even using the teacup or pot.
- The Swirly Frames are a great accent to almost any stamp set. Contemporary, classic, whimsical ... it will work with them all. I trimmed this down after stamping it with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on a 1/4 sheet of Whisper White. I colored them slightly with the light Mossy Meadow Blends.
- The darling roses were colored with Flirty Flamingo and Mossy Meadow Blends Combos. They are especially easy to cut out with the coordinating dies which are part of the Tea Time framelits.
- I used a wonderful thank you message from All Things Thanks. This would be perfect for a wedding thank you or some other marriage related thank you, special neighbors or family members.
- Add your own special message and send off this pretty card.
