This cute little number is one we did for a during an team event last month. It is another monochromatic card, this time featuring the Forever Lovely Bundle along with some Powder Pink products and the embossing mats from the Annual Catalog.
Measurements:
Whisper White Thick Card Base: 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" scored at 4 1/4", scored and folded
Whisper White Pieces:
4" x 2 3/4" Piece to cut and emboss the edge
scraps to cut the flower and a few accent pieces
Powder Pink polka dot/stripe paper from 2017-2019 In Color 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper(DSP):
4 x 1/4" Piece - either side will work for this.
Powder Pink 3/8" Mini Ruffled Ribbon
4" piece
Directions
- You will use the edge framelit to cut the edge of a with your regular cutting sandwich and the embossing sandwich as shown in the embossing mat package to emboss the corresponding detail.
- Stamp the larger rose with Petal Pink ink on the Whisper White scrap and cut with dies along with a couple of other small white dies. There are several smaller embellishments that will work with this card.
- Emboss your greeting in the lower right corner of the Petal Pink piece using Versamark or Whisper White Craft ink, White Stampin' Emboss Powder and the heat tool.
- Trim your Whisper White embossed piece if needed so that it will cover less than 1/2 of the Powder Pink layer and will leave 3/4" - 1" between the white layer and the embossing.
- Adhere the DSP layer over the Powder Pink layer, matching the upper and lower left corners.
- Adhere the DSP layer over this, once again matching the same corners.
- Attach the ruffled ribbon at the edge of the DSP.
- Attach the small embellishments to the back of the rose as desired.
- Use a Stampin' Dimensional to attach the rose over the lower part of the ruffled ribbon as shown.
- Share the card with someone you love!
