Today is the day! It's Stampin' Up!'s It's Our Birthday Sale and I'm back with a few more photos of cards using some of the 30 sets that are 15% off all day.
First up I have a few cards that I've done with Floral Frames. This is a set that is currently part of a bundle so you may be better getting it at the regular 10% off Bundle price if you want the framelits with it. That said the stamp set stands on it's own and if you don't use the Big Shot you will still really enjoy this set. Though I did die cut the flowers they are simple to hand trim in order to give this card some dimension.
This next card uses no die cutting at all, just the stamps, Tuxedo Black Memento ink and Blends.
This card was made for a challenge I did last summer. We were supposed to turn a piece of scratch paper into a card. I had been working on a card with Abstract Impressions and needed to do a lot of stamping off to get various shades of Poppy Parade. I just stamped a few of the Birthday Backgrounds images over my Poppy Parade Blobs and called it a Birthday Card!
All the Good Things is one of the first sets to catch my eye in the new catalog. They are in the Distinktive line, with beautiful detail.
Here is another duo, Better with You, perfect for coloring. The background in the daisy card was done for another challenge. I watercolored blobs of color onto watercolor paper and then doodled around the variations in color. Can you say addicting? It's kind of like coloring - a good way to relax!
A Little Wild is an adorable juvenile set with an elephant, lion and bear that have both the front and the back and then can be cut out and folded. Perfect for spinner cards like this one. There is no longer a bundle discount to get the framelits so getting 15% off the stamps is a really good deal.
Isn't the little bear cute? I couldn't resist putting him on this hexagon background.
You might be tired of me showing this next card sketch. I've used it more often than I have blogged about it. Cake Soiree is another stamp set that used to be part of a bundle but now are only available individually. While the framelits do have some lovely lace like cut outs, the sweet flower and cake images in the stamp set are easy to cut by hand if you want to pop them up for dimension like I did in these cards.
Finally, here is one more card with Kindness and Compassion, a set a gave you a peek at yesterday. I truly love that font.
Whew! That's what I found in my unblogged stash. Now I have to go shopping. There are a few sets on that last that I don't have yet...
