Happy Saturday! Today we are doing an Embossing Blog Hop with Stamping INKspirations.
I thought I would try something I haven't done for awhile: emboss resist. It turns out that it worked out as a great way to pull together these images from Amazing Silhouettes.
- I stamped the images with white craft ink on 1/4 sheet Basic White cardstock since the sheen of the ink was a little easier to see and thus control the placement better.
- I started with the tree since it was the fussiest about being "upright" and then added the others around that.
- The whole sheet was embossed with white embossing powder.
- Polished Pink, Mango Melody and Granny Apple Green inks were applied with Blending Brushes. Use a tissue to blot of any extra ink.
- I trimmed the sheet to 3 1/2" x 4 3/4" and attached to a 3 3/4" x 5" piece of gold foil paper.
- The thanks was cut from the same gold foil and layered over a slightly large die cut of vellum cardstock.
