I'm back today with a couple of birthday cards: His & Hers, both made with Stampin' Up!'s Country Club Suite.
- Basic Gray, Smoky Slate and Blushing Bride with a touch of gold foil trim and embossing
- Coloring was done with Stampin' Write markers and the blender pens: Smoky Slate, Blushing Bride, Mint Macaron and Pear Pizzazz. Using two greens sometimes gives a more realistic look to foliage.
- The gray argyle with pink is a fun twist on what is normally a masculine vibe.
- The Stitched Shapes circle in Basic Gray is the perfect base for my "pretty" golf ball and tee.
- This was my mother's birthday card this past February.
Dad's birthday is in late November. They live in southern Arizona so golf is in season for both of their birthdays.
- I made this shortly after receiving the Country Club designer series paper at Onstage last November.
- Since I only had the paper to work with at the time, I trimmed the focal point design from one of the papers and relied heavily on the blue and green argyle to carry the rest of the design.
- A Wish for Everything Bundle provides the birthday sentiment and the Stitched Nested Label Dies helped me to tie it all together.
