What could be better to highlight Strong & Beautiful, a wonderful set of greetings, than using this sketch that I first used last October. It needed some extra elements so I thought First Frost with it's matching Frosted Bouquet thinlets would be a great way to add some texture and character while focusing on the words. If you didn't purchase the First Frost Bundle last fall you will be glad to know they are still available separately as the First Frost stamp set and the Frosted Bouquet thinlets. If you already have them, keep using them as they are perfect for winter and spring cards too. Don't you think that white with touches of green is perfect for this time of year?
- I stamped the message from Strong & Beautiful and the long leafed stem from First Frost in Mossy Meadow. Stamp the globe type floret in Soft Sea Foam. Cut the message out with the 3rd largest Oval from Layering Ovals and the corresponding greenery with dies from the Frosted Bouquet framelits.
- Cut 2 sprigs and 2 leaflets from Soft Sea Foam.
- Stamp the small rose in Soft Sea Foam lightly over the oval greeting.
- Emboss a 1/4 sheet of Whisper White with the layered Leaves embossing folder and trim it down to 3 1/2" x 5 1/2"
- Layer the embossed leaves over a 3 5/8" x 5 1/2" piece of Soft Sea Foam card stock.
- Apply adhesive to the back of the oval message piece and arrange and attach die cut pieces grouping them in the opper left and lower right portions of the oval
- Attach the oval to the upper center of the leaves panel with Stampin' Dimensionals.
- Write a message to your friend and pop it in the mail.
