Here is a quick modification of a Floral Statements card I made earlier. I thought that the roses in the Country Floral embossing folder were somewhat reminiscent of the roses in Floral Statements so wondered how it would look if I used a border along side the stamped rose.
- The image was stamped with Stazon Jet black ink and colored with a Melon Mambo and Old Olive watercolor pencils, along with a blender pen to soften the shading.
- Just a little less than an inch of the Country Floral embossing with a skinny strip of black is all it takes to kick this card up a notch.
- Mostly basic supplies are all it takes to make a lovely card. I blogged about a similar group with this set here.
